Heraclitus, the ancient Greek Philosopher, wrote a treatise entitled ‘About Nature’, in which appears an aphorism as ‘the whole flows as a river’ or figuratively, as everything flows, nothing stands still’ This work reflects on ‘Water’, as a metaphor for responding to extreme climate change outcomes such as extreme floods, resulting in mass migration by Climate Refugees. Where do we all go, who welcomes us, who gives us a lifeline.
